چکیده

Background: The kidneys are supplied by renal arteries which enter the hilum and branch progressively from pyramids to cortex into lobar, interlobar, arcuate, interlobular, finally terminate as afferent arterioles that glomeruli. Thus there is a normal pattern of blood flow towards when artery enters at hilum. aim study was explore glomeruli in with polar arteries. Methods: conducted department anatomy tertiary care referral institute. Twenty-two were obtained conventional method dissection cadavers for study. Sections taken upper pole lower each kidney. sections perpendicular close arteries. subjected routine histological processing staining per standard operating procedure. Histological findings observed documented. Results: found histologically different compared kidneys. number high power field higher nearer viable not sclerosed. An agglomeration present but they distinct did seem be associated Conclusions: an arterioles, increased cystic changes having artery. this warrants detailed special stains research elucidate mechanisms circulation correlation same clinical conditions such hypertension or any other diseases
